The Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) is an international student competition that challenges university teams to design, build, and launch high‑powered rockets to precise altitude targets while meeting strict engineering and safety requirements. NJIT Rocketry will be competing in IREC during the 2025–2026 academic year, giving members the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in large‑scale rocket design, testing, systems integration, and launch operations.
